We have been wandering in the Arizona Desert for a number of years now. For reasons beyond our understanding, we have been drawn back to the quiet of Northern Utah. For those who know us well, they understand our reasons for dragging one foot behind us. But the decision was right, and so we move forward into the unknown. We must admit though, Utah summers are sure easier than the lung searing heat of a Phoenix summer.

Ian Video
Ian is one of those unique kids that for the most part was just pleasant to be around & never really caused much stress for anyone. I guess after the craziness of his older sisters, his parents deserved one calm child. For the most part Ian is always happy and positive. He was our one child that was actually planned and expected. He is pretty much a guy who plans everything out now and expects to get what he plans for. Though he was engaged the day after he got home from his mission and moved out of our home a week later, we have finally forgiven him. His quick dry wit is seriously missed around our home. We had hoped to share this with him on Fathers day, but since he wouldn't come to Phoenix for Fathers Day....he can watch it on line anytime.
He is a person who loves his wife and baby so very much, and we have enjoyed watching him grow and progress into the kind of man anyone could be proud of. As we watch his family begin to grow, we just wanted to remind him make sure he remembers to turn around from time to time and take a look at his family and life. All to often it's easy to get so focused on getting the next project completed, or next class finished, or learning the techniques of the new job, and we forget to stop and embrace the life that surrounds us and if we don't pause to look....it passes us by all to quickly. Don't Blink!
